East Haugh House
East Haugh House Country Hotel and Restaurant is lovely hotel which is also
renowned for the quality of its food. In a quiet setting around a mile outside
the town of Pitlochry, this is a welcoming and cosy hotel with beautifully
furnished and comfortable rooms. There are even three rooms with four poster
beds, two of which have lovely open fires. The owners like to keep a very
personal touch with their guests.
The hotel won Scotland's Country Sports Hotel of the Year 2005 and there is a
sporting theme throughout, from the wallpaper to the sports trophies on the
walls.
The very modern styled restaurant is renowned for its use of fresh local
produce from scallops and wild Scottish salmon to highland venison.
The owners are keen fishermen as well as being interested in trekking, shooting
and stalking, and arrangements can be made for guests to participate in any of
these activities. East Haugh is a four star small hotel which is an ideal
location for a golf and activity break.
